Set It Down.
Imagine waking up inside a luxury tent, the high desert air cool and still. No alarms. No call lights. No one needing anything from you. Through the canvas, pale morning light stretches across the Oregon high desert — and for the first time in longer than you can remember, the only thing you have to do is breathe.
You've been carrying patients, families, grief, impossible staffing ratios, and the emotional weight no one sees. You are not broken. You are carrying too much without enough support. Rooted HEART was created for this moment.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF...
WHY ROOTED HEART IS DIFFERENT
This Is Not Another Pretty Retreat.

Wouldn't it feel powerful to finally regulate your nervous system — not just for a weekend, but for months?
Through trauma-informed somatic work, breathwork, and sound healing, you'll move out of the hypervigilant state nursing demands and into genuine restoration.
Wouldn't it feel like a gift to be fully held by nurses who simply understand?
No explanations needed. No performing. When nurses gather with intention in a safe, facilitated space — healing happens differently. You will be fully seen.
Wouldn't it feel incredible to earn 46 CE hours doing the most important work of your career?
Your restoration counts as continuing education. We built it that way on purpose.

Green Rock Retreat Center,
Culver, Oregon.
Luxury glamping in the high desert — where open skies, healing labyrinths, and fireside circles create the conditions your nervous system has been waiting for.
This is glamping — but sacred. Luxury tents beneath a vast high desert sky. Healing labyrinths you can walk barefoot at dusk. Fireside reflection as the stars appear. The particular silence that only the desert can offer.
There is something about open space and starlight that gives your mind permission to finally stop managing everything. Green Rock Retreat Center holds this cohort with intention and care.

YOUR JOURNEY
Welcome to Your Five Nights of Transformation
Every moment of this intensive is purposefully designed. This is not escape. This is restoration with substance — and we walk with you through every phase.
Before You Even Arrive
You are already held.
The moment you say yes, your healing begins. Before you ever pack your bag or board a flight, the container around you starts to form.
- 1:1 connection with a faculty member — a chance to be seen, supported, and guided. We read every screening form. We want to know what you are carrying.
- Three pre-intensive Zoom sessions — grounding practices, nervous system preparation, intention setting, and a chance to meet your cohort before you arrive.
- Private community group — begin connecting with your fellow nurses before you ever share a meal together.
Arrive, Settle, Create Sacred Circle
You land — and exhale.
You've arrived. The only thing required of you tonight is to receive. A nourishing welcome meal, warm greetings from your faculty, and a gentle opening circle where we ground, introduce ourselves, and set intention together.
Today is about landing in your body, softening into the space, and beginning to form the community that will hold you over the days ahead.
Slow Down, Regulate, Open to Receive
Your nervous system begins its exhale.
We begin with gentle morning movement — breathwork, somatic awareness, and practices designed to bring you back into your body after years of living mostly from your head.
The day moves through trauma-informed group sessions, nature immersion, and practices for nervous system regulation. In the evening, a sharing circle where each voice is witnessed.
- Morning breathwork and somatic practices
- Trauma-informed group healing session
- Nature immersion and unstructured time
- Evening sharing circle
Listen, Clarify, Go Deeper
Clarity comes when you are no longer running.
Sound healing in the morning — vibrational resonance that reaches the parts of your nervous system that words cannot. Then a silent period in nature: an invitation to hear what has been underneath the surface, waiting for quiet.
- Vibrational sound healing session
- Herbal medicine experience
- Guided silent time in nature
- Small-group process and group healing
- Evening ritual and ceremony
Express, Embody, Reconnect with Meaning
Reconnect with why you began.
This day is about your voice, your story, and the meaning underneath your work. We explore what brought you to nursing — and how to tend that flame rather than let the system extinguish it. Movement, creativity, and powerful group process.
- Movement and creativity practices
- Meaning and values exploration session
- Integrated breathwork
- Community healing circle
Integrate, Stabilize, Prepare to Return
What you've built here travels home with you.
The final full day is devoted to integration — grounding what has shifted so it isn't lost the moment you re-enter your ordinary life. We explore sustainable practices, community strategies, and close with a ceremony that sends you home with something real.
- Morning grounding and integration practice
- Sustainable resilience tools for home
- Final group process and community healing
- Closing ceremony and celebration
- Final nourishing meal together
After You Return Home
Integration matters. We stay with you.
The work doesn't end when you board your flight home. The weeks after an immersive experience are critical — and we have built robust post-retreat support because we know that the real world doesn't pause for your healing.
- Three post-intensive integration sessions with faculty — to stabilize what shifted and troubleshoot reentry
- Continued community connection — your cohort becomes a lifelong resource
- Ongoing practices and tools to keep your nervous system regulated when things get hard again
From the spark of curiosity… to the seed of intention… to the flourishing aliveness you rediscover — we walk with you.

WORDS FROM OUR CIRCLE
What Nurses Say
★★★★★
"Nothing has ever touched me the way this did. It wasn't surface-level relaxation — it was deep repair. For the first time, I felt safe enough to let my body unwind years of trauma and emotional load. I left regulated, grounded, and restored."
— Amanda L., MSN, RN
★★★★★
"I came exhausted in a way sleep couldn't fix. By the second day something shifted — my nervous system finally exhaled. The somatic work, the safety of the space, the way the faculty actually saw me… Rooted HEART gave me myself back."
— Sarah R., RN, BSN
🌿 A note of transparency: Rooted HEART is a new intensive launching in 2026. These testimonials reflect earlier, shorter offerings by our faculty. We fully expect this format to be equal to or more transformative than what nurses have described in the past.
YOUR FACILITATORS
Meet Your Guides
Held by nurse-led wisdom. Every facilitator has walked inside the same system that is exhausting you.
As both a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Christy understands the clinical dimensions of what happens to a nurse's nervous system under sustained stress — from the inside.
Her presence in the room creates a level of safety that allows things to surface that have been buried under years of professional armor. Her mission: to create spaces where nurses can finally be the patient.
Leonie weaves together somatic wisdom, herbal medicine, and integrative nursing practice. She approaches the body as intelligent and the healing process as inherently relational — her sessions have an unhurried quality nurses rarely encounter.
Leonie believes nurses, above almost any profession, deserve integrative care — and she has devoted her practice to making that possible.
Beth bridges clinical rigor with deep human presence — helping nurses reconnect with their sense of meaning and build sustainable paths forward in a profession they love but that has cost them dearly.
Her belief: nurses who are well cared for are better able to care for the world.
Something powerful happens when like-hearted nurses gather with intention. Healing becomes possible.
And you remember you are not alone.
