You’ve Held So Much for So Long.

You’ve carried patients, families, grief, emergencies, staffing shortages, impossible expectations, and the emotional weight no one sees.

You Stayed Strong. You Stayed Professional. You Kept Going.

But underneath it all, maybe you feel:

  • emotionally exhausted
  • anxious after shifts
  • numb when you used to care deeply
  • disconnected from your body
  • guilty for needing rest
  • uncertain whether you can keep doing this
  • like everyone gets care except you

If that’s true, you are not broken.

You are carrying too much without enough support.

Rooted HEART was created for this moment.

Why Rooted HEART is Different

Healing isn't accidental. It is intentional.
And every moment of this intensive is purposefully designed for you.

This Is Not Another Pretty Retreat.

Many retreats help you relax for a weekend.

Rooted HEART helps you recover in a way that lasts.

This immersive experience blends:

→ trauma-informed healing practices

→ nervous system regulation tools

→ emotional resilience training

→ guided reflection + integration

→ peer connection with nurses who truly understand

→ continuing education hours that support your license and growth

→ pre-retreat and post-retreat support

This is not escape.

This is restoration with substance.

Nurses Need More Than Pampering.

You need a place safe enough to exhale.

Clinical enough to trust.
Human enough to cry.
Wise enough to help you rebuild.

That is what we created.

Rooted HEART combines:

❤️ Clinical Credibility: Grounded in evidence-informed trauma and resilience practices.

❤️ Emotional Safety: Facilitated spaces where you can soften, process, and be real.

❤️ Practical Tools: Take-home strategies for stress recovery, emotional regulation, and sustainable resilience.

❤️ Belonging: You will be surrounded by nurses who understand what words often fail to explain.

❤️ Meaning Renewal: Reconnect with why you began—and who you are beyond the role.

Testimonials

“The Deep Repair My Body Was Asking For”

"I’ve done retreats, workshops, CE conferences—you name it. Nothing has ever touched me the way this did. This experience wasn’t surface-level relaxation; it was deep repair.

For the first time, I felt safe enough to let my body unwind the things I’ve carried from years of trauma, code reds, and emotional load. The team held us with such skill—it was unlike anything I’ve experienced.

I left feeling regulated, grounded, and restored. It was deeply restorative in the truest sense of the word."*

 “Life-Giving in a Way I Didn’t Know I Needed”

"I came exhausted in a way sleep couldn’t fix. I’ve been a nurse for 18 years, and somewhere along the way I lost my spark. By the second day, something shifted—my nervous system finally exhaled. The somatic work, the safety of the space, the way the faculty actually saw me… it was life-giving in a way I didn’t know I needed.

This wasn’t a retreat. It was restoration. I returned home lighter, clearer, and with a sense of aliveness I thought was gone forever. Rooted HEART gave me myself back."*

Disclaimer

Rooted HEART Resilience is a new, expanded immersive intensive launching in 2026.
While this 5-night format is new, our faculty have been facilitating **similar—but shorter—programs, trauma-informed workshops, and restorative nursing experiences for years.

The nurse testimonials shared on this page reflect experiences from those earlier, shorter offerings and the healing impact participants consistently reported.

We fully expect that the depth, spaciousness, and comprehensive arc of this new intensive will offer an experience that is equal to—or even more transformative than—what nurses have expressed in the past.

We look forward to your voice becoming part of this growing community of healing stories.
